Quantum corrections to frame-dragging in scattering amplitudes

چکیده

Frame-dragging effect manifests itself as polarization direction rotation when linearly polarized electromagnetic/gravitational wave scatters from a spinning point source through gravitational interactions, an also known the Faraday rotation. Treating general relativity effective field theory, angle and its quantum corrections are computed using scattering amplitudes. While classical is universal expected equivalence principle, found to be different between electromagnetic waves, supporting earlier studies that some formulations of principle may need reformulation in regime.

We show that the vorticity appearing in stationary vacuum spacetimes is always related to the existence of a flow of super–energy on the plane orthogonal to the vorticity vector.
